Nearly the same as Mt. Everest’s low.

When you think about it, that’s saying something. Mt Washington is experiencing the same weather as a mountain 23,000 feet taller

The one time I hiked Washington as a stupid punk stoned 20 something I met a couple who had hiked all over the world suffering from hypothermia - this was the middle of June. They were complaining the weather was worse than Kilimanjaro. We waited to to get to the summit until the next day.
I don’t claim to know why, but Mt Washington and the surrounding area gets pretty gnarly and a lot of people seriously underestimate what it is.

I’ve hiked it three times, including last year with Raph, and an overnight trip two years ago, all three times in June/July. When I spent the night it was in the low 30's overnight. In mid-July.
I’m hiking it again this summer

Looks like a good day for a winter hillclimb. I wonder how rallycars run at -33.
